After many ideas and considerations for a way to get into the loft of the tiny house, I settled on a simple ladder that could be easily put up and taken down.
It was built from 2 x 6s. The attachment bar is simple iron piping with corner brackets.
The ladder has 2 bicycle wall mounts on the wall facing side that hook onto the iron pipe to keep the ladder from slipping outward.
I also made it stowable in a space I had created ahead of time knowing that either a ladder or pocket door may go in there.
It works great. There is a handle on each side placed at the balance point of the ladder to make it easy to move and pick up.
